Oh god! I've been waiting for this full song to come out ever since the new Gintama opening. The opening came out in October but the CD single doesn't release till December! I'm like: Holy! That's like 2 months! BUT FINALLY, someone in the Gintama community posted the PV of the song:

I think the vid is pretty..erm, funky? It's a vid about the shoes.
For the song itself, I enjoy mainly the middle and ending parts. The parts at the beginning were more slow and less intense. I do enjoy BOTH the TV version and the full version now.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I really adore this picture because it brings back alot of happy childhood memories (so different to the high school memories right now). Then I felt sorrow because when Gintoki and the others were still kids, the war was already starting (or about to) - so young and they have to face such a terrible fate. We should be very grateful about how peaceful our lives are (yet we still complain about every single thing). In a way, I wish our society was a little more "tight" or "strict". When I taught at an abacus school, I realize a lot of kids seriously does not understand the word 'respect' - and you know what, the parents are exactly the same. Parents should be both fair and strict when they need to be. Oops, going off-topic again. Anyway, this picture really proves that Gintoki and his pals still have their "fond days" despite living in times of hardship. But of course, like Takasugi had stated early in the serie, "We may have started in the same place, but we were always heading in different directions. We've lived our own lives, striving toward our own ends." Hmm.. I wonder what direction my life will be heading. I might be thinking negatively but I always get this feeling that something bad will happen very soon. You see, every 2 years or a little less than that, something BIG happens in my life (I refer 'big' as something bad that will leave a scar to my life). But I should stop thinking that now so "superstition" won't actually hit me. XD (I went off-topic again, didn't I?)

Oh and if you haven't notice yet, I changed my journal name once again. Crimson Lotus has nothing to do with the theme (unless I change it to Azure Lotus or something but that doesn't make sense) but it's more of a nickname for my OC, Yoruhime. I've never seen a red lotus (only pick and white) but Crimson Lotus actually refers to a blood-stained white lotus. It has a meaning to my OC's story but I'll tell you that another time. Hmm, I think I stated last week about typing up her profile but haha, I failed to get around that. Maybe when Christmas breaks hit and I'll finish that (end of december). My teachers are planning to give us most of the remaining evaluations before Christmas break which is good because we can actually have a relaxing break but it will be hell before then. =_=;

I have a bad habit of making my life complicated the moment I have a little taste of freedom. Seriously.. I wasted hours to find a good layout to go with the banner and I end up using the 'Flexible Squares' layout once again. I don't know why I like Shinsuke so much. The fact that he wants to destroy the whole world is scary, along with his freaky smile. But I guess that what makes him popular for most of the Takasugi-fangirls. For me, I keep picturing the soft-side of him -- the side of him during the Joi war. Speaking of the Joi war, after a month of that awesome-but-irritating Joi-War trailer, I am STILL madly happy and just madly mad. QUIT TROLLING US, SUNRISE!!! Though I can't really blame them since the author did not make any progress yet in the manga. So...
Sorachi-sensei!!! Hurry up and write about Gintoki's past - along with Shoyou-sensei and the rest of them. I really want to see more of the past Shinsuke! 'Cuz I think he looks more hot with 2 eyes and his Kiheitai-coat. D:

1. What are your favourite pairing (from any fandom)?
Reborn! - anyone paired with Hibari, kthx. Maybe more 1827 than anything else? (Though I'm not too fond of 1869, ironically.)
Gintama - Okita x Kagura, Okita x Hijikata (Once again, contrary to many fans, I'm not a fan of Gin x Hiji)

2. What is your favourite Vocaloid video? Do you have a favourite Vocaloid?
Truthfully, I'm not a huge Vocaloid fan. I find them adorable though and some of their songs are quite well to listen to; I still prefer real life people singing though. However, I do like this video & song:


3. When did you take an interest in martial arts? Do you have favourite style?
Ever since watching a whole bunch of chinese shows, lol. I just find them cool and it makes me wish that guns and that sort didn't exist. Martial art takes years of patience and practice and I think that is what makes someone strong. I am indeed interest in martial art but my parents would never let me take lessons. That is why I focus on yoga (all beginner though since they say it's dangerous to do intermediate moves without a tutor) because similar to other arts, it focus on the mind and spirit. I'm not sure about what 'styles' there are but I prefer chinese martial arts (e.g. kung fu).

4. Do you like to draw? When did you start?
Yes because I get to be creative and imaginative. But for some reason, whatever I picture in my head can never get onto paper perfectly. If only I had better drawing skills. Anyway, I think I started drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. I remember drawing some sort of picture and showed it to my mom, she said "That looks wrong." Lol, ever since then I didn't show her anything but now, when she comes to my room and saw my drawings, she wouldn't complain. She usually says "Why are their eyes like that?" (i.e. the anime eyes)

5. What is your favourite animal?
Everyone around me thinks I'm a cat person - maybe because of my behaviour (I say meow sometimes as a greeting, weird yes.)  or maybe because they know 50% of my accessories/toys are kitties. Regardless, my favourite animal would be birds. From baby skylarks to powerful eagles. From beautiful white pigeons to ravens. Okay, wait, maybe not ravens. I had a bad experience with them before. :V

I don't even know who the girl is in the banner. I just found this render and thought it was cute. However, I believe that she is from some Touhou series. Popular and heard it here and there but never actually played it. I would have used Youmu Konpaku instead but I couldn't find a good render of her. Anyway...

Watching a short 12-episode anime:

Sengoku Basara ! ! !

Reasons why:
- I played Date Masamune as a character before in an old PS2 game (y'know, Samurai Warriors/ Dynasty Warriors/ Orochi). He seems like a pretty cool character and has an interesting historical background.
- I love the era of the 'Romance of the 3 Kingdoms' or anything traditional; so this anime catches my attention (though it is japanese history instead of chinese).
- Masamune is voiced by the same seiyuu as Hijikata in Gintama. His voice is hilarious and awesome! Not to mention, he speaks SEXY&LOL english in this anime ♥
